Why UK defence hiring needs its own job board
UK defence engineering hiring is programme-driven and clearance-gated: Dreadnought and Astute build at Barrow, submarine and surface-ship refit at Devonport, Rosyth and Clyde, combat air at Warton and Filton, weapons systems, Rolls-Royce naval reactors at Derby, AWE Aldermaston, and Sellafield — civil nuclear work on the edge of defence, sharing clearances, safety standards and supply chains with MOD and naval nuclear programmes. Generic national boards can't filter for coded trades, licensed-site experience or BPSS, SC and DV vetting — so employers pay for applications that never convert.
Who we're for
Primes and their tier 2 and tier 3 supply chain — fabricators, machine shops, C&I specialists, project controls and site services — plus candidates moving into defence from construction, process plant, marine or the armed forces. Every listing is reviewed before it goes live, and standard listings expire after 30 days so the board stays current.
Privacy & clearance
🔒 Your information stays private. Your clearance level is never published, never indexed by search engines, and shared only with the employer you apply to. We store only the category — no documents, numbers, or dates. Automatically deleted within 6 months. All claims independently verified by employers via official MOD systems.
